Trusty Tails in search of one pet in Hudson County, NJ to crown the Tail of the Year for 2020. We’re in the final stage of our competition where one Tail has been chosen from each city. Now, we need your help to decide who will be crowned Hudson County’s Tail of the Year! Voting is from November 2 – November 18th. Every vote counts!

Favorite Place to Sleep: On top of the wardrobe. Makes for a good vantage point in case of intruders.
Favorite Activity: Making my Meowmy turn on the bathroom sink so I can drink out of it instead of my water fountain
Favorite Hangout/Walk: I love hanging out on the windowsill to watch the birds outside…and pretty much wherever my owner is
Most Mischievous Thing You Have Ever Done: I managed to slip out of the apartment door once and ran up the building’s 4 flights of stairs to the top floor just to hang out. Meowmy wasn’t happy about having to run up the stairs after me.
How Did You Come Into Your Family’s Life? When I was just 3 months old my Meowmy fell in love with me at the Liberty Humane Society in Jersey City. She adopted me the same day and even fostered my cage mate for a week so I wouldn’t be all alone at first!
What Makes You The Best Pet Ever? I have a unique personality and will always keep you on your toes. I want to be by your side but also want my own space. I’ll do sprints at 3AM but will make sure not to bother you in the morning until your alarm goes off. I’ll give you kisses on your forehead but will give your ankle a nibble if I’m hungry. It’s all about keeping you entertained and that makes me pawtastic!
Why Did You Decide To Enter the Tail of the Year? I figured there’s too many doggos on the list of contestants and I wanted to show them what a real Tail looked like
How Did you Prepare For The Contest and Get Votes? Lots of sprints and beauty rest! Luckily my Meowmy has got a lot of cat loving friends out there that were able to vote for me!
What Did You Enjoy Most About The Tail Of The Year? I’m enjoying all of the extra treats I’m getting in order to get my picture taken. Little does my Meowmy know, I would pose for free
What Advise Would You Give To The Next Tail of Your City? I’d say cherish the extra pets you get and make Hudson County proud!
How Are You Handling Your New Found Fame? It’s great! Everyone likes to be pampered every now and then. Did I mention I’m getting extra treats lately?
If You Could Be Any Super Hero, Who Would You Be? Is Catwoman too clichè? Have you seen my mask? I AM Catwoman!
What Does It Mean To You To Be The Tail Of Your City? It’s such an honor to represent Hudson County! Just a tiny cat in Weehawken doing big things. Oh and cats rule, dogs drool.
