Meet David White, owner of Faithound Productions, a 2021 Tail of the Year Sponsor who will be photographing the winner of the pet competition.
Tell us about yourself.
My name is David White and I have 30+ years of fin art and commercial photography experience. I have been in Hoboken for over 35 years and have deep roots in art, dog, and coffee communities. I am always striving to make and create. I am excited that my commercial work has spilled over into the dog world.
Photographing dogs has become a passion, and I strive to capture each dog’s personality creatively.
What is Faithound Productions?
Faithhound is my company where I combine my passion with photography and my love of animals to create very unique portraits of man’s best friend.
What is the inspiration behind Faithound Productions?
I am inspired by art and historical references. I like to use various techniques and aesthetics to create unique photographs.
Tell us about your pets.
My family and I are blessed with two amazing dogs, Samantha (yrs old) and Elli 8yrs old. Samantha is mostly American fox hound, but looks like a Golden Collie mix. Elli is a Black lab mix with who know what and who cares – she is a talkative, smart, loving dog. She loves chasing squirrels and pigeons, loves kids and people in general, and wags her tail when you look at her! Samantha is smart and loving but a bit shy and loves her alone time.- Elli is her bestie.
