Trusty Tails in search of one pet in Hudson County, NJ to crown the Tail of the Year for 2020. We’re in the final stage of our competition where one Tail has been chosen from each city. How Did You Come Into Your Family’s Life? I was born in Tennessee and brought to my foster hoomans in Long Island. My hoomans adopted me and drove 2 hours to take me to my furrever home in Jersey City.
What Makes You The Best Pet Ever? I have a sweet and sassy side to me. I will curl up next to anyone and give them all the cozy hugs and warm purrs to brighten up their day. When it’s time to play, I have the energy of 5 lil kittens and will chase a wand toy or laser till I have captured or devoured it. I challenge you I’ll outrun you, but I’ll be panting like a little pup once we’re done!
Why Did You Decide To Enter the Tail of the Year? I have a floofy tail that’s loved by a lot of my Instagram followers and all my hooman’s friends. I am a great entertainer, and can make you laugh at my cuteness and clumsiness and spread happiness and pawsitivity in the world!
How Did you Prepare For The Contest and Get Votes? Ahead of the competition, I helped my hooman take great photos and videos of me, and post them with relatable captions on my Instagram. I used #tailoftheyear on my post, and told all my instagram followers to vote if they loved seeing me! I also reached out individually to my hooman’s friends and family all over the US to vote for me!!
What Did You Enjoy Most About The Tail Of The Year? I enjoyed seeing all the other adorable tails in the competition and made many new friends. I gave my hooman another reason to look forward to spending time with me, clicking my pictures, and teaching me skills. I also enjoyed the love and attention from the hardworking Trusty Tails team! It was surreal receiving my sash that also worked as a new toy I could explore and play with!
What Advise Would You Give To The Next Tail of Your City? You’re amazing just the way you are! Continue to give your hoomans love and don’t forget to take extra special care of your tail! <3
How Are You Handling Your New Found Fame? I am really grateful that I was able to reach so many people with my furry and funny content. I am not missing out on a single chance to remind my hooman to give me cuddles and scritches and tasty treats, after all, I’m the “Tail of Jersey City”!
If You Could Be Any Super Hero, Who Would You Be? No other than Cat Woman! She is my idol. I want to empower all the female beings and furries in the world by giving them a strong female role model to look up to like cat woman!
What Does It Mean To You To Be The Tail Of Your City? To be the tail of the year winner means that there is so much potential in my quest to spread love and laughter all over the world. We live in trying times and sometimes silly hoomans turn on each other, but there isn’t one soul that wouldn’t love an innocent furry animal and I believe kitties and pups like me have potential to unite the world and spread peace, love and pawsitivity. I will continue to try to achieve this by being cute and putting out more content for everyone to love and inspire more furries to do the same! Cheers!
