How Do I Know Who Has My Keys? – Safe Pet Care

Giving someone access to your house to look after your pet can be a huge leap of faith for some people but a step towards safe pet care. I can be scary allowing someone to look after your pet let alone trusting somebody else with your keys.

That is why at Trusty Tails we have a key register that helps us track your keys. This system will allocate your key to set members of staff and only those staff, ensuring safe pet care. We know when they are signed out and when they are returned.

We also have the ability to track when the visit to your pet has been made with out GPS tag system. When our sitters arrive at your home within the requested time frame, they will check in to the visit by clicking on “Arrived” .  This signals GPS tracking to put a physical time stamp on their location.  Then, they begin the scheduled visit.  Our dashboard in the office shows each of the staffs’ locations.   When the sitter finishes the visit with your pet, they click on the button that says “Complete” and once again another time stamp is entered onto their map reflecting the GPS coordinates.
